and he runs and he runs and he runs

Karrick's favorite pastime is running, always running. Maybe that will be his sport. Lord knows he has those long legs

Below is Karrick running down our fog filled block. Actually smoke from the fire in Minnesota made for a cool shot

Callahan

My sweet Callahan that is pushing 5' 7 and his super cute haircut

from Gap model, to Hell, then saved by Abercrombie

Well, we went in for our Gap model cut for TJ,  picture in hand

Actually 4 pictures of different angles from the Gap website. OMG, the stylist got a little over zealous and cut TJ's bangs way too short and chopped the rest. TJ held it together until we got home, then the anger set in. With a shoot in 4 days where the photographer is flying in for the day, TJ was pissed! (i can't even post a photo)

I asked him to let me have ago at it. TJ was blessed with a beautiful colic where his bangs grow straight up, so I played on that and Bingo, a clothed Abercrombie

I'm pretty confident TJ's new comp cards will be great and once his hair grow out a little bit, we will be back to the Gap model...oh and this is the 2nd time his stylist messed up so we are on the hunt for someone new

Just a side note, Callahan's hair turned out fabulous from the same girl...so cute!

New hair fior TJ

I got an OK from TJ's agent to get his hair cut like Mr Gap model above!

I'm so done with the Justin Bieber look, but we had to keep it (it's all about me...right?)

I emailed this picture to him(agent) and he replied

                              "Mary,

I think this would be perfect for TJ's hair!  I've CCed Socko."

So the only one that doesn't know yet is...TJ

I am very excited for TJ to get new comp cards on Wednesday

Who needs a girl to dress up when you have gap models and TJ?

All my McGinty's

All the McGinty grand kids

TJ and Callahan watching a video on how to tie a tie properly, tj rewinding above right (Tim had already left and I don't tie to many ties....I actually do it correctly, but didn't know it)

My handsome men

nice family day

Today was a rare free day, besides football practice from 7:30-11am we all just stayed home.

TJ and Cal disappeared for a while to play in a pick up game of football at the park.

Tim grilled and we hung out on the deck watching Karrick just play

After a very emotional and busy week today was a gift

Just love this picture of corn soaking

shots

I photographed last nights game at Lake Park HS from the top of the bleachers....much better view and pictures. I picked a few cool action shots to post just cause they're fun.

The sunset was stunning...the bright orange sky kind and I captured it at different times

I love the above and below shots...even if it is the other team celebrating...a cool picture is a cool picture

a few shots of TJ

TJ is shooting with SOCKO week after next for new comp cards. Dan (his agent) suggested we try a different photographer just to mix it up a little. We shot with Socko when TJ and Cal were 7 and 4 and figured why not. Dan wanted a snapshot of TJ taken today emailed to him today to see how we want to market him. I suggested a little edgier look as TJ isn't your normal 15 yo. I also suggested maybe a short haircut. We will see what he comes back with as I don't really know how much my input matters...probably not much at all

After school and a 2 1/2 hr football practice in the 100 degree heat. TJ jumped in the shower then out on the deck for a 10 min mini mommy shoot while his hot dogs roasted on the grill
