4 th and friends

Our 4 th of July started out with a 10:30 am baseball
practice followed by a 1 pm tournamnet
game in Hickory Hills .
We slaughtered Frankfort 14-1.
One of our Thunder family members hosted a 4 th of July
barbeque's at their new home.
The Thunder familiesgathered at the Warehams
for fun, food and good company.

These boys have bond like nothing I've seen before, probably
explains the success on the field
Once it got dark the team moved the party to Lombard Commons
for the annual fireworks show. I unfortunately had to go
home due to a muscle spasm induced headache.
Tim and the boys enjoyed the show that ended a wonderful day

My dad joined us Thursday night in Hickory Hills for the
1 st game of the series in which we slaughtered
Orland Park 18-1 ish (starting to lose count)
I don't get to see my dad often so it was a treat.
We are playing at this crazy field covered in electrical wires
that crackle throughout the game. If the ball hits the wires it is a do-over
Seriously...backyard baseball much.We even had a home run that hit
an out of the field wire and bounced back in
It was a fair ball and no home run We have dubbed this field
"fryer field, home of the do-over"
